- This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, centrifugals, pumps, motors, and lubrication.

- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year technical school
Experience
The following are the basic qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years mechanical and hydraulic components experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
